Why not the free Microsoft HEIF pack?

You can install codecs on a PC you own. This page is for a borrowed Windows machine, a Chromebook, or a quick WhatsApp send without installing anything.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Convert Image.
  2. Drop the .heic file.
  3. Leave output on JPEG at quality 95. Cap longest side at 1920 if WhatsApp still complains about size.
  4. Download the JPG and share it. The original is already deleted on our side.

Do you keep EXIF orientation?
