Convert Image

Convert and resize JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or HEIC with high-quality LANCZOS resampling.

Deleted after the job

Image is uploaded over HTTPS, converted with high-quality resampling, returned, then deleted immediately.

Server-side quality convert

LANCZOS resize, EXIF orientation, ICC profile kept when possible. JPEG uses 4:4:4 chroma at high quality. WebP uses the slowest encoder preset. Default is original size — no downscale unless you ask.

About Convert Image

Convert Image is a server-side converter for everyday format changes and high-quality resize. It uses LANCZOS resampling, keeps EXIF orientation, and preserves ICC profiles when the output format allows. Use it when Canvas-based tools look soft or drop color profiles.

What people use it for

  • Turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPG or PNG
  • Resize a graphic with LANCZOS instead of a soft browser export
  • Convert PNG with transparency to JPEG on white

Privacy: Your image is uploaded over HTTPS, converted, returned to you, then deleted immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Is Convert Image free?+

Yes. Convert Image on ChargeBite Tools is free to use and does not require an account.

Is Convert Image private?+

Your file is uploaded over HTTPS, processed for that job only, returned to you, then deleted. We do not keep long-term copies.

What formats can I convert?+

JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and HEIC/HEIF in. JPEG, PNG, or WebP out. Resize is optional and uses LANCZOS.

Will you keep my photo?+

No. Conversion is ephemeral: upload, convert, return, delete. We do not archive images.

Is this better than converting in the browser?+

The server path keeps ICC profiles when possible, uses LANCZOS plus light sharpening on downscale, and encodes WebP with the slowest (highest quality) method. That is more consistent than a typical Canvas export.
