How to convert HEIC, PNG, or WebP to JPG

iPhone photos often arrive as HEIC. Forms, Windows PCs, and older sites want JPEG. ChargeBite converts on the server with LANCZOS resampling — then deletes the file.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Convert Image.
  2. Drop a HEIC, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, or BMP file (about 25 MB max).
  3. Choose JPEG for photos, PNG for graphics with transparency, or lossless WebP.
  4. Leave width and height empty unless you need a longest-side cap. Convert and download.

Quality notes

  • Default JPEG quality is high, with 4:4:4 chroma when quality is 92% or above.
  • Downscales use LANCZOS plus a light unsharp mask so edges stay crisp.
  • To shrink a JPEG without converting formats, use Compress Image in the browser — that path never uploads.

Why do iPhone photos say HEIC?

iOS stores High Efficiency Image Format by default. Many websites and Windows apps still expect JPEG or PNG.

Is browser conversion worse?

Canvas exports often drop ICC profiles and use softer resampling. ChargeBite uses LANCZOS, keeps EXIF orientation, and preserves ICC when the output format allows.
