Images to PDF uses img2pdf-style embedding: JPEG and PNG are placed as-is when the decoder agrees, so you do not pay a second generation of JPEG loss. HEIC, WebP, TIFF, and BMP are converted first (HEIC/others become a lossless PNG or a high-quality JPEG depending on the source) then placed.
Optional A4 or Letter fit scales the page box. Native mode uses the image’s pixel size as the page. Reorder photos before you run the job. Scan to PDF is the same engine with a camera capture control.
