ChargeBite vs Smallpdf: when no signup wall is the point
People hit Smallpdf because it ranks for every PDF verb. The free tier often means an account, a daily job cap, or a Pro nudge. ChargeBite implements the same everyday verbs without that wall — and labels what it will not fake.

- Years of brand search and backlinks
- Desktop apps, e-sign workflows, and a polished Pro plan
- Cloud connectors some offices already standardized on
What ChargeBite optimizes for
- No account for core tools — open the verb, finish the job, download.
- Ephemeral jobs — no document library. Several image tools never leave the device.
- Honest limits — unlock needs the password you know. Signature image is not DocuSign.
- India-shaped extras — 200 KB PDF, PAN 10 KB, 35×45 passport, scan to PDF.
When to stay on Smallpdf
If you need their e-sign request flow, Google Drive as the default, or a tool we do not ship (full reflow PDF editor, PDF to PowerPoint), use Smallpdf. We will not pretend those jobs.

FAQ
Does ChargeBite replace Smallpdf?
No. Smallpdf is a large branded suite with Pro limits and cloud extras. ChargeBite is a smaller privacy-first set of the same everyday verbs: no account, ephemeral jobs, honest e-sign/unlock limits.
Is ChargeBite free without a daily task cap?
Core tools do not require an account. We rate-limit abuse, not “2 jobs a day then pay.” File-size caps are published on each tool.
Do you keep my files?
No long-term archive. Server jobs upload, process, return, delete. Several image tools never upload at all.
